ARISE AND SHINE
Life always changes
The future's unknown
It's hard to stand for what is true
The world is full of confusion
And so many shades of gray
Sometimes the right way is hard to choose
Arise and shine for your light has come
And the glory of the Lord is upon you
See how darkness covers the land
But the glory of the Lord is upon you
The glory of the Lord is upon you
Help us make lives that stand up
With integrity
Put love and wisdom in our ways
Make a city of saints
With a church that is strong
Father build us up today
Lord, don't delay
Have mercy on us
Don't look away
Have mercy on us
We call Your name
As we stand before You now
CITY OF THE KING
I see the clouds in Your canvas, the sky
As the sun that You made starts to set
The colors that come straight from Your heart
Are more than just the eye can see
As the waves of the ocean arise
Made to crash on the sands of the shore
Pounding a rhythm of power and grace
Flowing from the hand of God
Great is the Lord and so worthy of praise
In the city of God, on the mountain He raised
It is beautiful and the joy of the earth
We will see, we will be
In the city of the King.
The truth and the weight of Your word
The strength of Your promises kept
Jesus Your Son, humble and pure
The King who is a lamb
The victory gained through Your pain
Redemption that comes from Your blood
Thousands of songs and voices to sing
Aren't enough to equal what You've done
Great is the Lord
Great is the Lord
Great is the Lord
Great is the Lord
FIX MY EYES ON YOU
I will fix my eyes on you
I will give my heart to you
Lord, train my mind to turn my thoughts to you.
You counted all as loss
You endured the shame
There upon the cross
For the joy that followed pain
How can I doubt a Savior
Who blesses me this way?
Be the King of all my life forever
Yesterday,tomorrow and today
Fill me with passion
For Your Word and Your Way
Fill me with passion
For Your Word and Your Way
I RUN TO THE ROCK
I will worship You oh Lord
I will tell of all Your wonders
I will sing praise to You, oh Lord
You are the light that guides my path
Your shield protects me in my weakness
You lift me to the hills to praise You, Lord
For me to live is to worship You
For me to speak is to sing Your praise
I run too the rock who rescues
You rescued me.
In You I have the strength I need
Your ways are perfect, straight and pure
When I bow down You lift me up, oh Lord
You are faithful, You are pure
You are perfect, You are strong
Your light shines, the darkness flees
You are the Rock who rescued me
IRON
Give me iron in my soul
To walk Your way when doubts arise
Give me strength and self control
When I'm tempted by the lies
In your ways, I have been tested
But never more than I can stand
The pain, for glory, is invested
To see Your face and touch Your hand
I'll stand firm though the wind may blow
I'll walk in Your way where You tell me to go
I can't ask for more
than to live my life for You
Give me iron in my soul.
Give me works behind my words
To be a blessing to the poor
Help me do the things I've heard
Make my heart an open door
Psalm 119:175-176
Invigorate my soul so I can praise you well,
use your decrees to put iron in my soul.
And should I wander off like a lost sheep—seek me!
I'll recognize the sound of your voice.
LORD, STILL MY SOUL
I want to be
Someone who does Your will
Who knows Your voice
Who can be still
Lord, still my soul
Lord, still my soul
I want to live
A more simple life
So I can hear
And do what's right
In silence, I will hear You
In darkness, yet I see You
I want to know
You still my soul
Lord, still my soul
No sadness overshadows
No evil overpowers
Your grace is overwhelming
Your joy comes in the morning
I'll lift my eyes and know
You still my soul
Lord, still my soul
THE MIGHTY KING
Jesus, Jesus, God become flesh
Sinless in life, obedient to death
You rose on the third day
You call us to come
You rose on the third day
You call us to come and worship
The Mighty King, the Mighty King
Jesus, You are the Mighty King
Jesus, Jesus we worship Your Name
Send us Your Spirit, refresh the flame
You give us a new day
You call us to come
You give us a new day
You call us to come and worship
Alone in our darkness
You draw us near
Our Friend in the silence
Banishing fear
A King with all mercy
A King who can save
A King with all power
Who rose from the grave. We worship
Victorious Redeemer
Sustainer and Friend
Search me and know me
Yours till the end.
TO HIM WHO IS ABLE
To Him who is able
To keep you from falling
And bring you into everlasting joy
Sinless and perfect
Brought into His presence
Before the Father's throne
I will sing
I will shout
Glory to the Most High God
YOU'RE MY REFUGE
My God, You're my refuge
Lord, You're my shield
When my heart is troubled
Your hand steadies me
Though the mountains may fall to the sea
Your Spirit is living in me
When the seas surge with foam
And the hills quake and moan
I'll be still and say You are my God
I'll be still and say You are my God.
O THE DEEP, DEEP LOVE OF JESUS
O the deep, deep love of Jesus
Vast, unmeasured, boundless, free
Rolling as a mighty ocean
In its fullness over me
Underneath me, all around me
Is the current of Your love
Leading onward, leading homeward
To my glorious rest above.
O the deep, deep love of Jesus
Spread His praise from shore to shore
How He loves us, always loves us
Sing of His love forevermore
How He watches over His loved ones
Died to call us all His own
Now for us He's interceding
Watching over us from the throne.
O the deep, deep love of Jesus
Love of every love, the best
Like an ocean full of blessing
Perfect source of peace and rest
MAKE IT SO
My Lord and King I pray
That I could see
And do the things today
You require of me
How will I please Your heart?
What can be done?
I need a place to start
To walk like Your Son
To act justly
And to love mercy
Walking humbly with my God
Lord, would You show me the way?
To be someone
Who does what's good in Your eyes
You have shown me, shown me the way
Make it so
Lord touch the suffering
And those in pain
Lord use my hands to bring
Healing in Your Name
Bring comfort to the poor
Through what you've given me
In the streets and corridors
Set compassion free
J-E-S-U-S
Well a guy walked up to me the other day
I turned when I saw he was coming my way
I turned too slow and he caught me; oh
I had to listen to what he had to say
He said, well I've got something for you , my friend
I'm gonna help your thoughts and your life begin
And so you'll understand what I say is true
I'm gonna spell it on out for you
Gonna tell you about J-J-J-E-S-U-S, J-J-J-E-S-U-S,
J-E-S-U-S has given us the best
He was born in the dark of night
When one star was shining especially bright
There wasn't a room in that whole darn town
So he was born on the ground
Well, he grew up strong and he grew up wise
Because this was what was prophesied
He knew he was the son of God
But the townsfolk thought he was odd
The church didn't like what he had to say
And the government wondered about him anyway
So he gathered up folks like you and me
And set about to set us free
A crowd turned against him and he had to die
On a cross of wood up against the sky
When he passed away all the skies turned black
And they took him to a place where they thought he'd never come back
He had died on a Friday night, but by the end of the weekend he was shining bright
His life sets us free again,
That's why I'll spell it on out my friend
USE YOUR CHURCH
Lord, you’ve called the poor your friends
You’ve made a way for the lost and lonely
You’ve given us the word and sent us out
You’ve provided everything and made us ready
We raise our voices as one
And shout our prayer to You
Use Your church
On your streets
Use our minds and the words we speak
Make heaven’s hope surprise the world
Jesus the King, of heaven and earth
Heaven and earth
Lord, let your kingdom reign on earth
Let us bear your name and your glory
Let us see what’s going on through Your eyes
Let our worship be in acts of mercy
